Huma Qureshi is a Bollywood actress and a model; she was born on July 28, 1986, in Delhi, India. Her father Saleem Qureshi runs a chain of restaurants and her mother Ameena is a home maker. She has got three brothers named Haseen, Naeem Qureshi and actor Saqib Saleem. Huma has completed her degree in History Honors from Delhi University, before her entry into Bollywood, she worked theatre plays. Later she moved to Mumbai to start her modelling career in 2008.
Huma Qureshi made Bollywood entry from film Gangs of Wasseypura in 2012 and later appeared in its sequel for which she earned Film Fare award for best female debut and her performance in the film was highly admired. Later she got the lead role in the movie Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana a romantic comedy and other films including Ek Thi Daayan, D Day and Dedh Ishqiya with co-star Vidya Balan. Huma’s appearance in many Tv commercials including Mederma Cream, Vita Marie and more. And her latest film in 2015, action thriller Badlapur along with co-star Varun Dhawan, Yami Gautam and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the film was commercially hit at the box office.
